Windows update repeatedly telling me Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition Service Pack 4 (KB2463332) needs to be installed.
After running the installation, I am told this was successfully installed and the Update History also shows a sucessful status.
However, a few minutes later, the message that it needs to be installed will recur.
I've done a few things to try to get around this problem, to no avail.
I ran the steps in Article 910339 and I do not get any error codes.
I did try doing the installation from the downloadable file, using the default selections, also to no avail. And I tried the same process after using MSCONFIG to reboot my computer with everything disabled except for Microsoft services.
I do see messages in various logs or reports about ASP net not being registered, but I have no idea if this is related to the problem, or how to change it even if it was:

When I open the SQL Server Configuration Manager, and examine SQL Server 2005 Services.
it appears as if both MSSMLBIZ and SQLEXPRESS are at Service Pack Level 4:
In this regard, this differs from a previous problem in which one was only at Service Pack Level 3. That problem was apparently solved temporarily with a "MS Support Guided" manual installation of SP4 using some non-default parameters (and I don't
recall what they were). But the re-offering of the SP occurred shortly thereafter.
Advice as to how to proceed would be much appreciated. I would prefer to correct the underlying problem, than merely hide the update.
