Hi, folks.
After installing the latest (December, 2012) SSDT Tools for VS 2010, and ensuring that VS 2010 SP1 is installed, I am still not able to open a database's stored procedure via the VS 2010 Server Explorer window. I get the error message that only servers up to SQL Server 2008 are supported.
Simple question: Will the VS 2010 Server Explorer window no longer be supported to edit/debug SQL Server database objects as I could with SQL 2008 R2 and earlier?
As well, should .NET developers instead be using the SQL Server Object Explorer window?
NOTE: I also have VS 2012 Ultimate with its latest SSDT Tools installed. Do the two versions (VS 2010 & VS 2012) of SSDT on the same machine clash with one another?
Thank you for any advice!
Best wishes, Davin Mickelson
